Request for movie in Apple TV

How do I request for a particular movie to be made available in Apple TV in my region. I can see that its available in a different region.

movies vs. apple tv app I have a 2nd generation apple tv and some of my movies wont work in the apple TV app, but they will play if I use the old movies app instead. It gives me some kind of error about the movie not being available in the USA anymore. Any idea why it would work in one but not the other? I was considering upgrading my apple TV, but I don't want to if I won't be able to play all of my movies.

Content availability is not controlled by Apple but by the movie production companies.
