Apple Intelligence is now available on iPhone, iPad, and Mac!
In every article I've found Online, screenshots show an option "My Photo Streams" under Photos > Preferences > iCloud. However, this option is not available on my MacBook Air. Anyone has a clue why?
What I'm trying to do is basically set up My Photo Stream so that it's visible on my MacBook. Currently it's not visible under the normal Photos > Library path.

I think it depends on the OS that you are running. If the MacBook is still pre Catalina, then photo stream should still work. Interestingly, iOS 13.2.3 (just released today) still supports Photo Stream. I have used Photo Stream for years but recently it was becoming unreliable. Then it was dropped in Catalina, so I switched to the paid plan - iCloud Photo Library, which has so far had it's issues.
If you have iCloud Photos enabled the My Photo Stream is disabled.
That's because their features partially overlap and can make for redundant imports, i.e. duplicates, into libraries.
I may be wrong, but I believe that Photo Stream was dropped with iTunes and is no longer included in Catalina.
Hmmm. That would make sense. Does this mean though that I can't see my Photo Stream on a MacBook any more?
I'm running on 10.5.1, which seems to be the latest for me (just checked on my MacBook). I'm on 13.2.2 on my iPhone.

This sounds like quite a basic feature to NOT be working.
Why can't I see "My Photo Stream" under my macbook Photos > Preferences > iCloud settings?
