Able to create short cut to change auto-lock

When using my iPad to take notes I like to leave the screen up. It normally turns off after 2 minutes. I would like a shortcut to change auto-lock to never and when completed turn auto-lock back to 2 minutes.

What has happened to the fast opening of Quick Notes on my iPad (by swiping from the bottom right corner of the iPad screen)? IOS 17 for iPad seems to have taken away the fast opening of Quick Notes, which I used all the time! Why?
