I keep trying to update my macOS High Sierra using the App Store. It say there is an update, however it will not update, gett a message that says An error has occurred The request timed out.(-1001). What to do?

Try downloading & installing it in Safe Mide...
Safe Boot from the HD, (holding Shift key down at startup), does the problem occur in Safe Mode?
Which exact update is it?
It is Security Update 2019-006 10.13.6
Same error message. Still not working.
Did it download OK from my link?
I tried the download you provided and it showedd up as SecUpd2019-006HighSierra-1.dmg, I tried to open it and received a warning window that say image not recognized.
size also say Zero bytes, Kind Disk image
It started to download, lets hope it follows through
It worked and it installed and App store now shows that I am up to date. Thank you.
