There is a cracking/popping sound when I play music/video using the mbp speakers, and jump to next song/video

How is this such a showstopper? It’s a great machine. Just enjoy what you have and the issue will be rectified. All hardware manufacturers have issues with their products. Nothing is perfect.

The issue is fixed in 10.15.2, check for updates in system preferences to upgrade.

No it is not fully fixed. It seems for some people it's fixed. For me it's not fixed.

Except when I set my system-audio-rate to 96kHz I don't get any popping.

Happy to report that 10.15.2 did the trick for me.

it's frustrating to drop over $2k for a product that doesn't work properly

I just installed 10.15.2 still getting pop sound, so there is no fix yet. I am getting annoyed but that. It not suppose to happened.

Has there been a fix issued? I don't want to have to return my MacBook for this

They released 10.15.2 and seems to have fixed it for some but not for others. My MBP 16 wasn’t fixed. I’m thinking of returning it.

Speaking of clicking noises, my 16 inch Macbook Pro does a clicky noise when i turn it on. Its rather annoying. Does it happen to anyone?

10.15.2 Did the trick for me.

10.15.1 Did solve it partially but it was still present SOMETIMES. I updated and since then it just totally disappeared. Sad to see it didn’t work for everyone.

there is no Audio setting in MBP system preference. Did you mean Sound?

search for the Audio-Midi-Settings App

I'm having this exact same problem, to a "T." I'd hate to return my brand new MacBook Pro, but I may have no choice! Apple, will you fix this soon?

Did you try working in 48 or 96 kHz?

Also, are you really producing music using the internal speakers?
