I just got my 16 inch macbook pro. There is a cracking/popping sound when I play music/video using the mbp speakers, and jump to next song/video. Is this hardware or software issue?

just to repeat it because it might easily be over-read:
here 10.15.2 didn't help with the issue - the plops just sound a little different.
It helped setting the Audio-samplerate to 96 kHz in the Audio-Midi-Settings App.
I think I found a possible solution to this problem. I had to change my midi settings to 48kHz. I've added a video to show you how to do it.
Yes, but what is interesting is the machine I have now and other two were all custom top spec machines (2.5 weeks to build and deliver direct from China), so no stock items.
I spoke too soon... speakers not fixed. It's weird because I didn't notice the issue, but after a few days of usage the problem is obvious. I'm so disheartened...
Well wait for the next software update. The 10.15.4 did fix the issue for a lot of people.
Well that was unfortunate for you but that does not represent the rest of us that have success. You're trying to downplay that I and many others have had success after the update. SMH!
