I just got my 16 inch macbook pro. There is a cracking/popping sound when I play music/video using the mbp speakers, and jump to next song/video. Is this hardware or software issue?

There are plenty of examples where large numbers of reports though the above feedback system made a difference. There are no examples of complaining here helping fix anything.
I didn't hear it at first, but after a few days of usage it came back. I'm trying to narrow it down; overclocked/overheated CPU?
I think the update worked for me. I haven't heard it since. Will update if it does come back.
Yep, I have 7 machine replacements, all the same, so I gave up and got a refund.
Oh god, it continues to make the sound while audio is playing but muted!
I’m on Big Sur and haven’t heard it yet. Maybe this is the “update” they were talking about.
