Text Message adding Photos but Stuck?
I’m trying to send Text Message with a photo but the Photo Icon does not bring up my images. It gets stuck with just the white screen and the photo icon.

Thank you for using Apple Support Communities! I see that you're unable to view and send photos in the Messages app on your iPhone. Thanks for including a screenshot of that behavior, and I would be happy to help point you towards a resolution.
Is the issue happening when you try to send a photo to a specific contact or does it occur with all contacts? Are you able to share a photo via Messages in the Photos app instead?
I would also like to have you try the following, then let us know if you're still encountering the behavior after:
- Ensure you've updated your iPhone to the latest iOS: Update your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch
- Force the Messages app to close: How to force an app to close on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch
- Restart your iPhone: Restart your iPhone
