How to get the QWERTY french keyboard on MAC 2019

The only French keyboard option is Canadian French CSA on the Macbook air 2019. This critically slows me down in my typing as this is not the usual French keyboard used in the Canadian French community. I would need the keyboard with the “dead keys” that allow me to add the accents to the letters A,C and E rather than have the accents already with the letters. Can anyone help get this keyboard option to download. How incredibly frustating...

It looks like it is not available for Mac, a shame because it is on the iPhone, however you can do it this way.

è é ê à á â ć č etc. by pressing and holding the fn key then press and hold the letter of choice and you will get a small popup with a few choices and you then pick the one you want.

You may not need to use the fn key and achieve the same result by just holding down the letter key until you get the popup

Could you explain in more detail what the "usual French keyboard is" in Canada?

If you want the accents via option deadkeys, you can use US or ABC or Canadian English input source. If you want them via the punctuation mark deadkeys, you can use US International PC input source.

As you can see from the picture, the accents are on their own keys. Having used this keyboard for my entire 35 year career, it would be nice to have this keyboard option on Macbooks. I type over 90 words a minute with this keyboard.

I can download this French keyboard option on any laptop, except the macbook, even if my laptop is English. I usually have different French language keyboard options to download, something Apple doesn't seem to offer... which I find hard to believe.
