AirPods Pro High Pitched Noise

When I push my AirPods Pro into my ears I hear a really high pitched noise, similar to the mosquito sound everyone used to play. Has anyone else experienced this? When they’re off it doesn’t happen, so I’m assuming it’s part of the noise cancellation.

Hi have a Fix.

Go to Bluetooth > Select your Airpods Pro > Select Noise Control "Off". Also make sure that Left and Right Airpods actions have nothing to do with Noise Control. So just make sure to have both working with Siri. This is what works for me, I hope it does the same for some of you.

I finally took mine in to get fixed. The right one started vibrating and making a bad crunchy sound instead of squealing and the left one started squealing. I had to take them to the MicroCenter near me because all Apple Stores were closed. They told me it would take 2-4 weeks because of COVID. I got them back not even a week later. They were really bad sounding and I’m surprised they fixed them. Now they’re like brand new. They never said what the issue was though.

Its not and issue...... It’s not damming them when you push to hard on the tips all the special speakers and mics witch allow noise canceling transparency and spatial audio are being forced on witch causes them to sqeal and it’s not good to use force on them because You could break one of the speakers or mics and ruin one of those features or all. Be careful with you AirPods they may be expensive and very good quality but thier still breakable

Samesies.

It was predominately the right ear but the left would occasionally do it as well. The right AirPod Pro would be so loud I would have to take it out, only to put it back in shortly after and have to do it again. A buzzing, haptic like vibration would also occur as well.

I went to an Apple store as they’re still under warranty and I also sprung for Apple Care but they’re all closed in my area due to Covid. So I called and Apple set up an appointment for me to drop them off at Best Buy. Best Buy ran a diagnostic and confirmed there were multiple issue present with both sound quality and charging degradation. Hopefully they get replaced and the replacement doesn’t crap out in under a year.

Seems like this is a pretty common occurrence. I expect better from Apple 😢

Hello guys, this is not an issue what you are all facing. There is mic where you put your finger on while you push through(turnoff the transparency and noise can. you wont hear squeak or buzzy sounds) also an air canal for balancing the pressure in an out. This is very normal behavior of airpods pro and it is not an engineering mistake. This is the beauty of engineering and the implementation of this two additional adaptation. Turn off both and you wont hear any of these sounds as your other pair of headsets without trans. And noise can.

Has Apple addressed this issue? I am experiencing the same problem with my right AirPods Pros. A very loud high pitched noise that is loud enough to bleed through phone calls. It only happens when I reach up to adjust the buds. At first, I thought its because I was touching the external microphones, but that is not the case. I hear the sound whenever I simply push the buds into my ear. It doesn't happen on the left bud. Just the right. And Apple will not replace it either. I sent them in four times but they said the buds are fine, sent them back the next day. Someone, please help. I cannot use my headphones in ANC or Transparency Mode because of the noise.

If this is normal, why does it only happen with the right earbud in my case? Why not the left? I tried to squeeze, push and cover the left earbud but they don't have this issue. Also, why didn't my original AirPods have this issue? They worked perfectly fine with not whistling noise, and I'd always adjust them when jugging or working out. How is this normal? Please help me understand?
