Unresponsive Screen - iPad Pro 12.9 iOs 13.2.3

Hi guys, after several updates my iPad Pro is still having bugs on the screen. I know it’s a bug because when the screen becomes unresponsive, it still responds to my keyboard shortcuts. I also know that it’s not a physical defect, because there are inconsistencies on how my iPad respond to the regular touch-pressure.


Any ideas? I’ve tried to look for ideas and performed the following ideas:


1- Opening Touch Accommodations

2- Closing Siri

3- Resetting General Settings

4 - Doing a Factory Reset

5 - Doing a Hard Reset


Any other ideas???? It’s sad, such an expensive tablet with a buggy screen. :(

This is a well known issue here in these iPad communities.

Take a look at these ongoing, long standing, longer posts on the subject of this intermittent, unresponsive touch screen issue below.

This issue has been going on for a full year, now!

There is STILL no “official” confirmed solution/fix from Apple, to date!

None.


That is because this issue is either STILL only affecting a growing, but still very small minority of iPad Pro users OR iPad Pro users are simply NOT reporting this issue enough here in these official Apple iPad support communities OR simply NOT posting enough feedback to Apple about this intermittent, unresponsive iPad Pro touch screen issue to alert the proper responsible and cognizant Apple employees and teams and get them working on this iPad Pro touch screen problem.

The best you can do is continue alert Apple to this growing issue.


The only way to get Apple to, DIRECTLY, listen to you is to use their feedback portion of their website.

Cognizant Apple employees read ALL feedback generated from all of the various feedback pages and transfers the data to the proper and responsible Apple teams and personnel , but NO Apple employees will ever respond with any type of direct, individual replies from the feedback you post.

You can post multiple feedback to these feedback pages.


The more users that post product feedback about any product issue, the faster Apple is made aware and starts working on a fix/solution for a future software update.

I had this problem on the newest iPad Pro 12.9 I bought in oct 2018. I finally got so frustrated I took it in to Apple and they replaced it after a DFU. The new one was ok for awhile but it started to have the same problems. Since I got it at the end of my one year warranty I knew I wouldn’t be able to replace it for free.

Well, I updated to 13.2.2 iOS and the problem has completely gone away. So it’s only been less than two months but so far I haven’t seen any of the unresponsive glitches that were occurring before upgrading.

You are the only one reporting this.

I suggest you give it more time.

Many, MANY more users still reporting this intermittent, unresponsive touchscreen issue is still ongoing in both iPadiOS 13.2.2 and iPadOS 13.2.3.

There has been NO confirmed fix or solution for this touchscreen problem/issue/bug forthcoming from Apple, to date.

Apple engineers have yet to solve this issue.
