bluetooth mouse not working

Latest software update won't allow my bluetooth mouse to stay connected. What to do?

Turn off and on your Bluetooth settings through System Preferences while leaving the bluetooth device turned on.

Then if it does not see your bluetooth device, turn it off and on. It needs to pair again. If you don't have a wired mouse, get one.
