Music and TV app

Am I the only one that sorely misses the Column Browser (and Show Artwork) in the Songs view in the Music app in Catalina? I always used this in iTunes and liked to have the extra information about my songs and mostly selected albums on the number of plays or when we last played it. The info shown in the Artist or Album view is horrendously sparse and you are not able to select more columns.

Also the way Apple Music is shown gives bigger artwork and lots of white space on my 27” iMac. Come on, this was way better in Mojave and iTunes.

I am afraid the same goes for the TV app. The way the information (or lack of it) makes the app almost intolerable to use. You cannot even see what is free and what you need to pay for on the main page. The problem with the white space is the same as in Music.

Am I really one of the few people that thinks this is a major problem and keeps me from upgrading to Catalina? I find very little critical reviews about this on the internet.

Rumour has it that the column browser will return in macOS 10.15.2.

If you haven't already found it use View > Show Filter Field for a more useful search tool. Annoyingly this isn't yet a sticky preference.
