My Face ID stopped working. I have the latest firm update. I tried setting up a new Face ID and it will not set up. Keeps saying move face a little up or it changes to a little down. It is also auto focusing a lot during the set up.

Mine doesn’t even open up to the camera option. I went to reset my ID because it wouldn’t work when I’d go to unlock it it would just sit with the lock/loading symbol spinning at the top of the screen. When I went to redo it it just pops up with an alert saying that Face ID is unavailable
So, what did you do to fix it? I’ve tried everything.
Have you tried shutting the device off and turning it back on again?
cause I just did and it works now.
