I keep getting notifications to update Evernote Web Clipper, but each time I do, the circle completes and the button simply returns to "Update." Meanwhile, my web clipper seems to be working fine in Evernote. I have tried updating from the Evernote website, but it just re-directs me to the App Store.
I can't tell whether this is an Apple problem or an Evernote problem.

Try booting into another admin user account to see if you can do the update there. You can also try updating in the Safe Mode.

Thanks! I re-started in safe mode, opened the App Store, and it said that all my apps are up to date. Then I re-started again, went back to the App Store, and again it says that all my apps are up to date.
Problem solved!
