Problems I am facing, hope you might have a solution please do share.
Take a screenshot using app or Ctrl+shift+4, and file to save in the desktop.
Now after the recent update, I am update to see the files.
Same applies to download, I am using Crome which downloads but assigned to place the file in my download. but now files cant be seen also..

I did do the above and it's already set to Desktop.
I did a Reset the laptop and all files appeared where it should be ... pretty weird
Will keep a look out.

In Finder, Click on the menubar on Finder, Preferences. Then click on the tab Navigationbar. Is the folder Downloads selected?
To make a screenshot: try cmd+shift+5
If you use cmd+shift+5, you'll see Options and there you can choose where to save the screenshot
