The mystery of missing 15Gb of iPad memory

Hello Apple community

I hope someone can help me with my long lasting problem of missing space on my 10’5 iPad Pro 64Gb.

The thing is it looks like there is some non-existent something that occupies crazy amount of 15Gb in my Files folder. Yet if I simply calculate everything Files folder contains on my iPad it’s nowhere near of that amount (roughly around 5Gb).

Strangely enough if I connect my iPad to iTunes it shows almost 16Gb of free space. What kind of mystery is this?

iOS version 13.1.3

iPad Pro 10.5-inch, Wi-Fi, Cellular

Hello,

Try resetting iPad's settings in Settings > General > Reset > Reset All Settings. Be certain you do not select Erase All Content and Settings as this will erase all of your information. It is a good idea to perform a backup of your iPad prior to resetting its settings.

Unfortunately I am out of ideas. You may want to wait on resetting to see if anyone else posts on your thread. This type of reset will not erase any of your content on iPad, it just resets all of iPad's settings.
