Podcast notifications

I have not been receiving podcast notifications for some time. I have checked the phone settings as well as the podcast settings and everything seems to be turned on. Any advice is appreciated.

Notifications while listening to podcasts Turn on message notifications while listening to podcasts? When I'm listening to podcasts, my iPhone 12 doesn't play a sound to notify me of messages arriving. It does vibrate, but I don't always feel that if it's eg in a bag or pocket. Is there a way to say, yes, I really DO want to be interrupted with alerts? I can't find one either in Settings or by searching online. Thanks. It is not on a focus, phone is up to date. Awareness is turned off. These were recommendations on another question of the subject that did not seem to be solved. I need to be interrupted when listening to podcast and books.

I accidentally dismissed the notification request from Podcasts app and it's not showing up in the system settings now I accidentally dismissed the notification request from the built-in Podcasts app and it's not showing up in the notification setting area. Is there a way to reset the notification settings or let Podcasts app resent the request?
