Very Slow Performance from Mac Mail App and Gmail on Safari
I have having two pretty distinct issues, both stemming from email access.
Catalina 10.15.1
Safari 13.0.3
Mail 13.0
First, when I use my gmail account via Safari, it is otherworldly slow. To click from one email to another sometimes take five or more seconds.
Similar functionality from the Mail app, especially when going back and forth from the regular view to the unread only view.
Needless to say I am not used to this performance. I have read a few things that say it has been since Gmail updated its interface. I have zero issues when running my email accounts through Chrome. I can have my work G-Suite on one identity, as well as three personal G-Suite domains and a personal gmail with no hiccups at all.
I have tried to clear different caches from what I could find on the forums and read of the net. It has not helped one bit though. It is also worth nothing that I am on a fresh install of Catalina. I have also disabled all extensions form safari.
Any suggestions or troubleshooting would be much appreciated.
