Gift Card not received despite the "Your gift card has been emailed." mail
Hi all,
About 8 hours ago, I bought an iTunes Gift card for iTunes UK (in £), with a guest account to be sent by email. Half an hour after the purchase, I received the "Your gift card has been emailed." mail. However, the recipient still has not received any email regarding the gift card. I already considered the following:
- The recipient email is correct.
- The mail is not in the junk/spam or any other folder.
- I connected the purchase from the guest account to a real account just to be able to see the "Resend Gift" option in Account Settings, but nope, I can't see even "Gifts" under Purchases.
- The money was withdrawn from my card around the same time I received the "Your gift card has been emailed." mail.
- I did email the Apple Support, but no one returned yet.
- Calling the Apple UK Support from where I am currently could cost me even more than the Gift Card itself.
Could you please help me with this?
