Why is my iphone6 shown on iPad 2018 in wifi settings as I think it affect the iPad reception.

If so how do I get the iPhone removed from showing in wifi settings

Hello,

This is called Hotspot. It does not affect your iPad's Wi-Fi reception. It allows you to use your iPhone's cellular data on your iPad.
