Sorry if this is done to death... I'm trying to get my library showing in the new music app for my phone, so that new playlists will sync.
I just can't see how to turn this off on my MacBook Air (with Catalina).

The guides online always mentioned turning off 'iCloud Music Library' on your iPhone, but I had no such option.
My solution was: On your iPhone, go to settings, then Music --> 'Sync Library' was on...turned it off and that was it! All my music library was then in the Music app on my computer and I could sync my playlists again.
Disregard I think I've figure it out ;-)
how did you do this, I've been trying for literally days to no avail?

Is there any other way? this only seems to work if you are paying for Apple Music.
