My Apple Pay keeps popping up without ever touching my phone. Is this happening to anyone else? Is there a way to fix this problem? It just started happening recently

Apple Pay is unreliable Is anyone else finding that Apple Pay is unreliable? I often see a message on the credit card terminal saying “get closer.” This is while my iPhone X is literally resting on the terminal. It doesn’t happen all the time, but probably 25% of the time. Any suggestions???

Apple Pay not working hi , I’m having trouble with Apple Pay not working, shows (Hold near reader) but doesn’t pay. Device is a regular Iphone 7 running ios 13.7 it was working just fine a week ago . the only two things changed before this is that I’ve changed the battery and added a new device to my icloud account. and i’ve tried a lot of solutions on the internet with no luck thank you for your help.

You can turn Wallet off for the lock screen.in settings>Face ID/Touch ID & Passcode.
