Can you use Pages to set up a booklet template

Since I updated to OS 10.15, my InDesign programs don't work. Can you use Pages to set up a booklet template (2 pages, per letter-sized landscape) with front and back printing? Is there an existing template for this?

Booklet Printing (Page Order) Hello, I am trying to print a booklet using Pages (A4 to be folded into A5 with staples down the middle). 'Facing pages' Gives me the layout I want with single front and back cover pages and two page spreads for when the booklet is opened. My issue is when I select booklet printing it does not order the pages correctly. I need: Side A - p24, p1 Side B - p2, p23 I have 'Booklet' printing selected under the 'Layout' tab. Prinitng a booklet in Pages Can anyone point me to somewhere i can find instructions for printing a booklet from pages. I have tried creating the document in both A5 and A4, and setting the layout to "Booklet". I have tried a number of "layout directions" and "pages per sheet," but cannot get a proper booklet with pages in the appropriate order for folding. Also, the pages are always shrunk slightly, as if an additional boarder was added. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks karl

Creating a simple 4-page booklet I knew how to do this in AppleWorks, but Apple has changed many things in Pages. I want to do a very simple "booklet" that consists of 4 pages on a single sheet of 8.5" x 11" paper folded in half. (In other words, two pages on side A, two pages on side B. ) I could simply create a normal 8.5 x 11 document, add four pages worth of text, and then in the Print dialog, under the Layout pop-up, choose 2 Pages per Sheet. Unfortunately, when the printed document is folded, the pages are in the wrong order. I know that Pages has linked text blocks capability, which could be a way of doing this. Unfortunately, in the Choose a Template dialog, I see no template specifically for this, so I don't know where to start. Is there a step-by-step tutorial somewhere on how to do this? Pages v. 11

No.

But there are applications that will arrange the pages of a pdf document in the correct order to produce a booklet. And Pages is able to 'print' to a pdf file.

The process is called imposition, which may help in your search of the app store.
