remove activation lock

My son forgot his pw and I connected it to iTunes. The iPad was reset to its factory settings. And now we’re stucked on the Activation Lock because it does not recognize my son’s apple ID.

Activation Lock My 2yo daughter disabled my Ipad that led to the activation lock. After removing the device (without erasing) in Icloud, the activation lock is still on and when I try to log in the apple id that I used to set up my Ipad, it says Incorrect Apple, cannot be used to unlock this Ipad. I already changed password and everything but still no use. It is really frustrating and losing my patience. Please, what other ways can I do? Activation lock I gave my iPad to my son, but he couldn't access because of the activation lock and we tried the apple Id but it said that it has been disabled due to many trials . So we resetted the password by changing it. Then when we tried again the iPad showed that "the apple Id we put isn't the apple Id used to set up the device "mean while it is but with just a resetted password . What do we do??

ACTIVATION LOCKS I have an iPad (2012) that used to be my late father-in-laws. We want to clear the Activation Lock so my mother-in-law can use it. Problem - Apple ID is no longer valid and we cannot locate to access iPad. Any ideas as to how we can clear the activation lock. Apple support unable to help.
