Scanner won't work on new op system??

Be certain that you read the particular link to your specific scanner model on the VueScan site, and their discussion of whether they can drive your particular scanner model without canon software and drivers, or if they require the Canon scanner drivers as a prerequisite.

VueScan does work very well but I found that I can probably purchase a new Photo/Slide scanner for probably twice the cost of their supported version of software and be up to date with the hardware.
