MacBookPro 16inch SleepWake crash when waking
Brand new 2019 MacBookPro 16-inch. Hangs occasionally when I come back to the machine in the morning after it has been asleep for hours. Detail:
During the night the computer was asleep; when I come back and open the lid, the system looks normal (prior to logging in, between I try to move the mouse nothing happens. Nothing on screen is responding; clock is at time that seems correct. Fingerprint key is unresponsive to touch.
This has happened before; perhaps even every morning.
Condition of system:
Seagate 10Tb drive (TimeMachine off) on right side USB-C port nearest to hinge;
Apple USB power cable on left side near hinge
USB VILCOME adapter with only VGA attached (to Samsung monitor (not 4k)
Note that entire machine is very warm when it is stuck; fans are not running.
Resolving with pressing physical fingerprint key and holding it to cold boot (nothing else get me back to work).
As it comes back the fans rev up to cool the unit down; it clearly has overheated while it was sitting there trying to wake up.

Points to issue being due to system not coping well with display(s). Found no resolution in that thread; just some work-arounds.
Seems that in the latest brand new machine from Apple with latest OS and all apps fully up to date (and no non-Apple apps running) that this would not happen.
