Yahoo Mail issues

Got a new iPad and tried to add my yahoo mail account, didn't work. After changing my password I was no longer able to access mail on my iPhone either. After trying multiple times I caved in and called Yahoo. They said its a "temporary" issue with Yahoo mail not working in the new ios. True?

Anyone else having issues?

Yahoo Email I have been having trouble with my yahoo email on my Iphone. My email wouldn't update even though I knew I had new mail. I deleted it but now it won't allow me to add it back. I know I have the right email password but every time I enter it the account resets back to add account. Anyone else having this issue?

UPDATE: apparently it was temporary, as my iPhone and iPad just loaded my email accounts!

They did have me download the app, but I was told it was a temporary solution.

I was told the issue was only going on for two-three days and should be resolved soon.

That's why I'm curious if others were hearing this or having similar problems.

Yahoo mail/server has been notoriously bad. I'm surprise they didn't have you download and use their yahoo app.
