Random photos of strangers in my photo album

I logged out of my Apple account on my phone and then logged back in (I was trying to fix a problem on my phone). I looked in my photo album and saw a bunch of random albums from apps that I don’t have, like WhatsApp. Some photos are from LA and I’ve never been to LA. And then in my main photo album, I have random photos from early this year (January-March 2019). Photos that I’ve deleted in the past showed up too. I don’t have photo stream enabled, airdrop was on for contacts only, and nobody has access to my Apple account. I don’t know what’s going on and I’m freaking out about my privacy. Is it time for me to get an android?!

Hello Confused-melon,

Thank you for using Apple Support Communities. It's my understanding that there are unknown photos in your Photos library after recently signing out and back in with your Apple ID. I can definitely see how this could be concerning. Your privacy and security are very important. Please contact Apple Support for further assistance.
