I tried to pair my Apple Watch with my iPhone 6 but I couldn't

hi there,

I bought an apple watch series 4 yesterday and the I tired to paired with my I phone 6 but I couldn't even I have updated my software on my iPhone t latest version which is 12,4,4. i believe the watch need more software update to can paired with my phone, but there is no any latest version for iPhone 6 such as 13 iso, even so i tried to updated with computer but still no improved. is there is any solllution to get latest update for iPhone 6, or i should return back the apple watch,

If the apple watch has watchos6 software on it then you can't pair it with an iphone 6 you need an ihone 6s or higher and the phone needs to have ios 13 or higher,if it has watchos5 or lower then you can.It looks like the watch has watchos6 if you can't pair it so I would return it for a refund.
