Portrait mode not editable

hey is there anyway to send my photos to my windows computer and still be able to edit the portrait lighting?? I try sending my photos over to my computer but when i send it back to my iPhone 8 plus I cant edit the portrait lighting! Plz help!!

Mac OS Photos unable to edit Portrait Depth on iPhone 14 Pro photos It looks like this might be a common problem whenever Apple releases a new phone, as I see people have had this issue in the past. Although Photos on my M1 Mac mini and 14" MacBook Pro can see that a photo was taken with Portrait mode on my iPhone 14 Pro, it can't edit the depth of the photo or change the lighting, see attached. I'm sure that Apple will fix this somewhen, which is why I'm putting this out there to notify them,

The photo edit mode does not have portrait available at the top of the screen. Cannot tap portrait as suggested??? I want to change an existing photo taken with my iPhone to portrait mode. As previously suggested the photo edit feature does not include portrait at the top of the screen. What to do?

You have to edit them on your phone before sending them to a non-apple device, as those devices don't save all the information that apple devices do.
