Mute Function on Apple TV

While I know others have asked, providing a function to mute sound on the Apple TV seems to be a no-brainer. Does Apple actually listen to the requests of their customers? I wouldn't think this would be something that requires much more consideration. I don't know of any other major manufacturer who doesn't support this need for customers. Having this function relieves the customer from going through the hassle of holding the volume key to no sound, then having to do the same and reach the same level of volume again.

Please consider creating a FUNCTION that mutes the sound.
