Iphone 11 Echo when FaceTiming

When I use FaceTime, I almost always hear myself echoing/reverberating during the conversation. The other person does not hear it, but it drives me absolutely crazy. It's very annoying and loud. I've tried to lower the speaker volume but that has not solved any issue. I have an Iphone 11. It doesn't matter the iphone that I am calling. I've called people with older Iphones and also other people with the same Iphone 11 as I have. I'm wondering if I should take it in and see if there is a fix?

Anyone else having this issue??

Thanks for posting in the Apple Support Communities. From what I understand, you hear an echo when using FaceTime. I’d like to assist you with that.

Please ensure that you and the person you’re communicating with are running the latest version of iOS. At the moment, that would be iOS 13.3. The steps here will help you with updating if needed: Update your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch
