I had sent a pdf from my ipad to iPhone it is showing sent on iPad, i didn’t receive any notification on the phone but it vibrated and rang. Now I’m not able to find that pdf on my phone. I had checked in adobe acrobat, books app and files but all of no use.

If you send a PDF file from one iOS device to another, it will prompt for the user to select the place it needs to be stored such as Books, Adobe. Kindle, Chrome, Files ..... If you Select Cancel. It will not be stored anywhere. If you do not remember what you selected, check in all the possible places (options) that was offered to you.
If you use the same Apple ID the first popup message to Accept the AirDrop (as shown in the GIF) will not appear.

The transfer was from same id and hence no popup. But now the question is where is the file. Is it actually received or not??” And if yes where can i find it.
