Trouble with Catalina install

I have a MacBook Pro (Retina, 13-inch, mid-2014), with macOS Mojave (v. 10.14.6), and when tried to download Catalina got "Could not connect to the server" message. Yes, I do have a solid 5G internet connection.

I recommend starting with trying to complete the update using a different Wi-Fi connection if possible. This can help rule out any network issue.


Also, have you attempting the update multiple times and got the same error? If so, I recommend attempting to complete that update using safe mode. You can find the steps for that here: Use safe mode to isolate issues with your Mac
