Keep getting
"an error occurred installing the latest version of watchos on your apple watch"
Have tried all step in this article (https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT204641), I have even changed iPhone as coincidentally bought a new one, and the issue follows. Even tried all steps again with new one..
Apple Watch Sport
Watch is series 2, phone is XS Max, iOS 13.3, but like is said, had the same issue with my old phone (6s plus) iOS 13.3 too!
anyway I checked compatibility here;

and it’s compatible.
Besides, if it were incompatible (with either phone) should I not get a message saying as such. rather than the update sending and error....
That has been done... besides, as I said the issue existed with the old phone too.
You need to remove the watch from the old phone first before you pair it with a new phone;

Can't update to WatchOS6.1.1.
