Updating the OS on an Apple Watch series 6.

My Apple Watch will Not update to WatchOS 9.3 from WatchOS 9.2. I have an iPhone 14 Pro with IOS 16.3 on it and when I try to update the watch after a while I get this message on my iPhone

(Software update failed. An error occurred downloading the latest version of WatchOS on your Apple Watch)

Has anyone had this happen? Apple Support was not able to help they say I need to send the watch in for repairs. but it is working fine for everything else.

Any help other than sending it in for repairs?

Thanks Gary.

Make sure you don't have any VPN or VPN ad-blockers on the phone.

Resetvthe router to factory settings (usually a pin in a hole)

It is unlikely to be a hardware problem
