I received a bogus email the other day saying my Apple account was suspended. I immediately figured it was a hoax. Here is the body of the message:

***

Your Apple ID is locked for security reasons. Detected login from iPhone Xs Max devices and unusual activity from your account.

Check your identity within 24 hours because of concerns about the safety and integrity of the Apple community.

Use this link https://appleid.apple.com Check your account.

I clicked on the link (Im sure that wasn't smart, but I did not log in - just tried to click on the different links on the top of the page (looked just like this apple page) but none opened so I figured it wasn't legit.

I've changed my Apple ID password using my MAC but not sure what to do now on my iPhone to get my email app to open.
