Preview song on Music version 1.0

I'm thinking about buying some songs from the iTunes Store. When I fire up the Music program (Version 1.0.2.37), click the the "iTunes Store" button and start searching. I see a song I'm interested in and click the number to the left of the title expecting to hear a 30 second preview.

The first time I'm told I have to log onto Apple Music to play on my Apple TV. O.K. that is a bit weird as I don't have and Apple Music account, but I go ahead and enter my Apple password, nothing starts to play. After this when I click on the number l I get a message that says:

Apple TV can’t play this item. Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas isn’t in Apple Music.

Why do I care if this is not in Apple Music? I don't want to listen to it in Apple Music. I just to sample to see if I want to buy in iTunes.

Any ideas? Is there a different program I should be using to browse/buy from iTunes?

Computer: iMac (Retina 5K, 27-inch, Late 2015) / macOS: Catalina Version 10.5.2

Thanks in advance and have a great holiday!

Nevermind.

I tried playing an previously purchased album. Got the same message about needing to log onto Apple Music to play on my Apple TV.

So I switched back to playing on my computer. That worked. Switched to may Apple TV again. No messages and it played fine.

After this the iTune Store let me play samples again.

Guess I somehow set the program to Apple Music and it didn't switch back to iTunes.
