iTunes Store error
I have downloaded iTunes to my laptop. I cannot sign in. It keeps telling me there’s an error in the iTunes Store. What can I do? I’ve looked in the store and can’t find anything else to do.

Hello cyndy99. What version number of iTunes for Windows have you installed on your laptop, and what error code(s) are you getting? (A screenshot of the error message would be great.) If you have installed an old version of iTunes and are getting error codes 0x80090302 and/or -50, then maybe take a look at this thread: https://discussions.apple.com/thread/250770211

Contact Apple Support: Ask for assistance with Accessing the iTunes Store. Speak with an Apple Rep. They'll know what's going on and why.

Those are exactly the errors I get.
I already know what's going on and why: You have downloaded a very old version that is no longer supported by the iTunes Store. If you did this deliberately because you prefer older versions that allow you to manage apps from your PC, then iTunes 12.6.5.3 is now the only game in town. Here's another thread: https://discussions.apple.com/thread/250783805
However, if you are stuck with a very old iTunes version because you are still running Windows XP or Vista, then I'm afraid it's "game over."
Those are exactly the errors I get. I’ll look at the thread you attached
