Recently, my AppleTV has started using the nearby HomePod as the audio output automatically. We have to change the audio output settings often now.
I cannot find anyone else mentioning the same issue so I started a new thread.
If anyone knows how to stop this or is experiencing the same thing, please chime in.

You can permanently adjust this setting in Settings > Video and Audio.
Interesting. So making the change in Setting>Audio and Video is permanent but using the pull-down gesture while playing something is temporary?
I will check this and re-post.
