not connecting to smart TV - Mac to LG tv with airplay

Hi

I tried to use airplay 2 connection last night on the tv.

The tv shows the airplay option and i tried with 2 apple MacBook pro computers both running 10.15.2 (latest version of catalina).

The tv shows the pin code to put on the mac when airplay is activated. However on both computers the pin code was not accepted, each time tried.

Tried multiple times also tried using pin code and passcode. Same error on every time, code not recognised.

On the TV soon as that happens it says disconnected.

Macs are on 5ghz network so is tv.

TV firmware auto updated to latest firmware couple of weeks ago.

43UM7450PLA says it has airplay 2 on board.

Both macs are MacBook pro's 13, one a 2017, the other a 2019

Today I got it too work at last from suggestion on the av forum.

1) rename TV to shorter name now using just - lg tv

2) changed wifi to 2.4ghz (i do have wired connection not tried using just this)

3) did NOT scan code, but rather put in the numbers directly on iPad/iphone

Thanks I have read these and unfortuntletly dont help to solve the problem.

When I goto add the TV as a device in HomeKit on my phone or iPad pro I get the message it cannot connect.(see pic)

All devices are on same network, The tv shows the device its trying to connect too. ie iPad or iPhone.

I am signed into HomeKit on all devices and iCloud sharing is enabled.

The tv is on the latest firmware as are all my devices and mac.

Any other advice please ?
