Apple TV+ app keeps going dark while watching

The Apple TV+ app keeps going dark while watching a video (audio keeps playing fine). It happens on and off throughout the videos, very annoying. One minute it’s bright, the next it is almost completely dark (in the same scene). I don’t have auto brightness enabled on my iPhone and this only happens in this app. No problem on Amazon Prime Video app for instance.

Thanks but I doubt this solution would help as the app is responding. As I said the audio keeps playing. In fact the video plays as well, but the brightness goes down to near zero. I’m quite sure it’s a glitch in the app or in the videos they put up. When I rewind, it’s the exact same portion of the video that goes dark. It happens with all their videos. And on all my devices. All my other video apps play fine. I’ve seen others have complaining about this issue yet no one seems to have a solution. I don’t know where to send a bug report to Apple. The closest I have found is this forum. Does Apple look in at all? We can’t even leave reviews for the app in the App Store, there is no review button or link and the rating stars are blanked out. I guess Apple doesn’t care if it has a malfunctioning app. Funny how the Apple native apps are the worst of all the iOS apps out there.
