I recently bought the new iPhone 8 and opted to send the old one by mail so I received my return box with FEDEX label on it. My question is who will be billed for this shipment and how do I send it back? Do I need to go call Fedex for pick-up and if so won't they charge me since I have to register online and do the pick up request? Thank you.

If you were provided a Fedex return label, there is not cost to you. How you get it to Fedex is up to you. If you have a Fedex store near you, just pack the phone in the box you were sent and drop it off.
Since we are all users on this forum, you'll have to deal with Fedex for the shipping part. I can tell you that if you put the phone in the box and use the label you were provided and you drop it off at Fedex, there will NO charge. As to having Fedex pick it up, you'll need to deal with them on that.
A prepaid shipping label was included in the box.
Thank you for your response. I did get the label, but how do I get Fedex to come pick it up? I tried doing an online pick up through Fedex but they requested that I would have to sign in first and once I did and did the pick up data, they were going to charge me $27 something and then I said even if I drop it off at a drop off station would I be charged and they said yes!? I wish Apple sent the shipping instructions along with the label etc.

But hey....I initially tried to arrange a pick up through FEDEX and I had to sign in to their site, etc. and once I did arrange the pick up I called Fedex to confirm and they told me I would have to pay even though I had a label from Apple already printed. They then said I could drop it off at a Fedex drop off but I would still be charged!? I'm thinking also that the label is prepaid already but the pick up instructions weren't clear from Apple on how to go about it. Any advice? ($27 something is the amount I would be charged they said if they come pick it up or if I drop it off.)
