Stupid F8 key keeps starting Music when I don't want it.

How can I disable the F8 key so that it stops starting Music when I don't want it to? I thought it was just happening randomly, but it must be that I occasionally hit that key. The solution Apple support gave me was to click the "use F1, F2, etc. as standard key functions." Thus disabling EVERYTHING. I want to disable this Music app so that it just goes away. I need the volume and brightness keys to work without having to use the fn key. Anyone know how to fix this? It is so very broken.

MacBook Pro 15", macOS 10.15

This is not a solution since I need to be able to use the other function keys without the fn since I need to control the volume in the night in the dark with one hand. I know that I CAN use the fn key to access the functionality but it does not help me.

So no this is not the answer I need. I need the Music app to just go away.

on MacBooks the f8 key is configured to start playing your music track where you all you need to do is to enable the setting that makes the function keys work like they normally do on a wintel pc.

It does not disable everything, it simple means you have to use the fn key to activate.
