iphone photos app won't display my pics
photo apps in mode screen black thumbnail pics underneath can move them back and forth - can't get out of this mode. Don't know how I got into it. Pretty new at iphone.

It sounds like the Photos app may be frozen. I recommend forcing it to quit: How to force an app to close on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support
