Apple CarPlay

When messages are received on the car’s screen, they come up at the bottom of the screen. It’s ok if sound is on on my phone as that alerts me. If there is no sound, I have to see it out of the corner of my eye. This was ok when the message showed across the top of the car screen. Now that it flashes at the bottom of the screen I don’t see it.

is it possible to change this option or can Apple change it back to the top of the screen? I can’t find a feedback option to let them know
