The Metronome in recorded in audio files

Using UA Twin Quad MKII Interface, recording Optical in to S/PDIF.

I Create a new Audio Track, Input 3/4, Output 1/2, no Bus activated. Starting to record with Metronome on and the Click is recorded... Any suggestions on why?

Recording my KORG minilogue xd in Logic Pro Hey guys, So I'm still pretty new to Logic and am struggling to record from my new KORG minilogue. The track is for a software instrument, I've selected 'use external instrument plug-in', and selected the correct input. It's all connected, interface is all set up, and I can hear it through my laptop perfectly, but when I actually click record, it doesn't record anything. After watching a few videos, it looks like the issue could be that when I click on the instrument and select 'MIDI destination', the only option is 'Logic Pro Virtual Out', whereas the tutorials say there should be options with the minilogue title. What can I do to fix this?

Audio and sound missing when importing in Final Cut Pro I recorded interviews of my family with the micro shotgun MKE600. The sound is recorded. I can hear the sound when I am going through my rushes in Final Cut Pro. But once I import them on the timeline, the sound disappear. I am no technician. I am using only Final Cut Pro for fun. I am using a Mac and I am on the macOS Monterey version 12.6.7 / Final Cut Pro 10.6.5 Thanks in advance for your help.

OK let do a test.

Unplug headphones and guitar. Turn off speakers, guitar amp...

Record arm an audio track and hit record.

Does the click is recorded on the track? If so, then something is returning the click output to the input of the track. It could be the Top Box, the UA Twin Quad MKII or how they are configured/setup together.

As I don't have the same setup, I cannot try to reproduce the issue. I hope other members of the forum can jump in for more help.

So assuming it is not bleeding, what is the 3/4 input type in the UA console settings? My apologies if this too obvious.

How and what are you recording?

Just to rule out the obvious: If recording with a mic, do you use headphones?

Another thing to verify: The interface may return the click in the recorded signal. Look in the interface manual for monitoing options.

Is that Guitar Amp hard- or software? In other words: is an actual mic picking up an actual amp? Could you post a clip so we can hear it?

There is no leakage from monitors, it's recorded on the Audio Track.

I'm using:

Guitar Amp -> Universal Audio Top Box -> Optical Out
Optical In -> Universal Audio Twin Quad MKII Interface
New Audio Track in Logic
Input 3/4 (S/PDIF Stereo from Interface)
Output 1/2
No Bus

Guitar is recording, no problem there, but, the Metronome Click is being recorded on the sam track...

Hello there.

It’s a digital signal, not audio (so Software if you prefer to see it that way).

As explained above, it’s not a leakage causing this, it’s the actual Metronome Click that is being recorded on the Audio Track.

Hi Again,

Still recording Click. I’m more into that I have somehow created Virtual Channels from 3/4 in the Interface, looping output to the Audio Track.

Seems like Channel 1 and 2 from the Interface works fine.
