iPhone XS muting during calls

hello,

My XS is turning to mute while I am on calls, randomly. Sometimes it happens, sometimes not. Always during calls that are not on speaker.

IOS is up to date

Hey nanda1978,

I see that while on a call the iPhone XS will turn on mute unexpectedly. I'll be happy to help out.

Does the issue happen without a screen protector or case attached? Also try disconnecting any accessories that you may have connected to the iPhone to see it still mutes randomly while on calls. Turning off Bluetooth may also help with isolating the issue. Do this by going to Settings > Bluetooth.

If you're still having trouble, let us know if the display turns on when on a phone call when it does randomly mute.
