"Done" Keyboard Bar Covers Text Entry

I am having two issues.

One the “Done” bar with the up and down arrows that should be attached to my iPhone keyboard is way up on the screen.

Two, the moment I begin to type anything it moves the text entry field to the very top of the screen, often under the “Done” bar so I can barely see what I type.

You can see it frustrating my attempts to create this very post in the screenshot above.

I can scroll up, but the moment I begin to type anything it's back to the top of the screen again.

Okay, I turned the phone off and on again which has fixed it for the moment. If it starts up again I will include an update.
