Reminders still not syncing between (iPhone and iPad ) to Mac . All running the very latest software and up to date. Have to open reminders on the Mac for it to eventually sync.
Thought this was resolved with a software update a while ago?
Thanks for your help, Peter - glad your stuff is working. It seems you are a bit offended that others are upset that their Apple products do not work as advertised. I paid the premium for Apple products because Apple products used to "just work." For what it's worth, I've logged about 10 hours on the phone with Apple Support going through every possible scenario - and they still haven't figured out the problem. Seems like our frustration is well-placed.

It's not asking the world - come on Apple. We have all spent a lot of money buying all this tech, please sort it!!
Sounds as though you are offended Peter, if that is so it was very unintentional, and I apologise. Its just other people have the same problem. I thank you for your help.
Neither offended nor upset. Just saying an "Apple problem" would affect everyone whereas s few dozen out of half a billion may not be a general coding problem.
Problem solved, phoned Apple help, eventually reinstated Catalina (including Reminders) all well now.

What if I upgraded Reminders prior to Catalina? Am I screwed, or is there a fix for that?
Is there a way to just blow up every Reminder I have (~30K+ completed reminders as well) and just “start over?”
Strangest thing...I've done that on all my devices, but nothing syncs.
So the reminders deleted from Mac are still on the phone?
One complication - You seem to be sharing lists with other people? I have no idea how that works.

Sharing lists is a feature of the Reminders. For the person I'm sharing a list with, her reminders work just fine.
Doesn't sound like your Mac has Reminders toggled on in icloud settings or not signed into the same account as the phones.
That's what one would think, but I am signed into the same AppleID and have Reminders toggled on all devices. I've checked this more times than I can count.
Need something that actually works! Pretty sure the cat was out of the bag long before I made the switch...
It was a whimsy, but apparently solved the case.
